Week 3

First day in the life drawing room, very excited to try life drawing again. We did a lot of 1 minute poses to try get us to try and break down the pose into simpler shapes and it helps try and get better movement. It really kicks out any hesitation you have, not wanting to mess up a drawing or getting caught up in details. Michael showed us to break down the torso in chest and hip circles as a base for the body to work round. I feel like I’m either focusing on getting the arms drawn or the legs so I’ll need to speed up and try and get the whole figure.
